PRACTICAL TRAVEL ADVICE
Drs Basson-Blanchi, Lambert and Liscoët are authorized to vaccinate against rabies and to provide you with all the documents and certificates you need for international travel: they hold health mandates issued by the French and Monegasque authorities.
- TRAVELING IN EUROPE
Dogs and cats must :
- be identified by microchip (tattoo valid if done before 03/07/2011)
- have a passport (issued by a veterinarian with a health mandate)
- be correctly vaccinated against rabies (when crossing borders, it must be at least 3 weeks since the 1st vaccination and less than 1 year since the last booster). - OUTSIDE EUROPE : the basic conditions are the same, but please note that some countries require special documents (and the return of your pet is also subject to certain rules depending on the country of origin). Contact the embassy or consulate of your chosen country to find out more, and tell us about it.
In the event of problems (stress, vomiting) during transport, don't hesitate to ask us for advice: there are many solutions, including homeopathy and phytotherapy.
